The other day, I went to Gilcrease Orchard for a little Janae date.

Gilcrease Orchard is one of the only spots in Las Vegas where you can pick your own produce. I remember coming to this spot on field trips in elementary school. I forgot about this place until about 2023. I moved near it, and my love for the orchard grew and grew. It's an excellent place to visit. It makes me feel like I'm not stuck in Vegas.

While I was there, I went to the flower field. It was my first time seeing anything like this in person. The fact that so many beautiful flowers could grow in this dry hot Las Vegas was mind blowing to me.

As you can see it was STUNNING. There were so many cute families there so I started to take candid photos of everyone. After taking a few photos I'd run up to the families to let them know I took some photos and it'd be criminal to not send them. Everyone I shot got copies of their photos. My favorite was a group of coworkers. They were out taking photos with their phones. I had such a blast giving them a mini photoshoot. This experience allowed me to feel more comfortable approaching and working with strangers.
